We at Tulip are proud to be the Pioneers of Hydrobirth. We conducted the 1st water birth in Mumbai on the 10th of OCT. 2003. It is a highly acclaimed, ….internationally popular method of Natural Birth in Russia, Europe, Australia, Canada and The USA In our endeavour to offer women options in pregnancy & delivery we have thus gone a step further to present them the oppurtunity for a Natural Birth, in a nursing home equipped to deal with any emergency during the same.

PIONEERING HYDROBIRTH In INDIA
On the 10th of Octomber 2003, Mrs. Shantae Nilesh Prabhudesai, delivered her first child, a healthy baby boy underwater in a pool, with the assistance of her doctors Dr. Rajeev V. Punjabi & Dr. Sheetal J. Sabharwal. Together they began a fantastic journey which will hopefully result in more & more women eventually delevering more comfortably, enjoyable & painlessly than they ever imagined.

The submersion of the lower portion of the body of a pregnant woman in warm water during labour.

The actual delivery of her baby underwater in a pool of warm water.
